NBA Uncalled Travels Compilation

04:26
NBA Uncalled Travels Compilation Ok, I know the NBA is the biggest basketball stage in the world and all the tickets for games are expensive and people go to games for entertainment ,but this is just ridiculous. In This Mix of Not Called Travels you can see just shocking travels that weren't called by the refs and in most cases the refs are inches away from the play. Hope they start calling travels next season more often. Credits to Shaqtin'a Fool for some of the clips. Comment What should I upload next Thanks for Watching

Is Every Electron in the Universe The Same Electron? | Answers With Joe

The One Electron Universe theory is exactly what it sounds like - the idea that every electron in the universe is the same electron. How could this be possible? If that sounds crazy, that’s because it is. The first rule of this video is to not take this too seriously, it’s really more of a thought experiment. It was first proposed by physicist John Archibald Wheeler in 1940 in a phone call to Richard Feynman, who eventually popularized the idea. Wheeler had been working on a problem that had plagued physicists for decades, which was the question of why all electrons have the same mass and the same spin. He considered the fact that electrons always move in a certain direction in an electromagnetic field due to their negative charge. Similarly, a positively charged electron, or a positron, would travel the opposite direction because of its positive charge. So he imagined if you recorded the motion of an electron on video and then played it backwards, it would behave just like a positron. In other words, if an electron were traveling backwards in time, it would basically be a positron. This idea of an electron traveling backwards and forwards in time took over. And he began to theorize that in such a case, the same electron would cross our timeline multiple times - and appear to us as the same electron. I have a feeling I may be losing some of you, let me grab a prop… (step off screen. Construction SFX. Come back with board) Okay, I put this board together to help explain this, it took everything I learned from engineering school... (BLACK SCREEN) Text: (Joe has never taken a single engineering class) (CAM A) And I spent a lot of time and money on this… (BLACK SCREEN) Text: ($6.79 at Home Depot) (CAM A) But I think this will help explain it. So on this board, the vertical axis is the progression of time and the black line is where we are right now, so technically, this line is moving slowly upward, but let’s ignore that for now. And this string represents an electron (wind the string across the nails) traveling back and forth across time. It travels one direction until a force acts on it and then it travels the other direction. Maybe the force acting on it is the beginning and the end of time in the universe. Who knows? But the point is it goes back and forth over and over again, crossing over our now line. (tie off the end) So what does this mean to us? Well, think back to that Flatland analogy and how they could only see in one plane, well we are the flatlanders of time if you will, and even though this electron has spanned the timeline of the universe an infinite number of times, we can only see it when it crosses our path, which in this case is 1, 2, 3 (count) 8 times. In actuality, this would be closer to infinity, but I only have so much string. So to us, we see an infinite number of electrons doing their electron thing, when in reality, they are all one electron all along. Meaning that you and I and everybody we know and everything we can touch and every planet and star and galaxy in the universe is made up of the exact same particles. Now, if you’re wondering how Wheeler may have come up with such a crazy idea, it might be because he was also the guy behind the delayed choice experiment. I talked about this way back in my double slit experiment video but to greatly simplify this, the delayed choice experiment was a variation on the double slit experiment that allows us to know whether a photon’s waveform collapses before it is observed. In other words, it behaves differently according to events that have not yet happened. Meaning quantum effects are not necessarily bound by time. This might also explain why we see quantum particles blink in and out of existence and cross physical barriers they’re not supposed to. Because they’re sliding back and forth across our timeline.

Mr. Bojangles, TWH Gaited John Mule SOLD

05:00
Mr. Bojangles was born and raised right up the road from us. His previous owner travels for work and just didn't have time for Bo, so we had the option of buying this fantastic animal. We have had a family illness and now do not have the time that Bo deserves and must sell Bo. Our loss is your gain. Bo is an all-around awesome animal. He is out of a gaited jack and a registered TWH mare. Bo is a big, measured, 16.2 hand, 6 year old, solid black, john mule. He is stout built and can go all day. Bo has the best personality and disposition in the world. He is always very gentle and laid back. Nothing gets him worked up. He loves to be around people and is very sociable. There is not a hole one in this mule!!! Bo is super easy to catch and doesn't move a muscle to be tacked up. He even lowers his head to be bridled. Bo stands to be shod, clipped, and bathed. He jumps right in a trailer without any hesitation. He is not bossy out in the field and gets along great with other mules and horses. Bo is a dream to ride. He has a great, smooth, walk and running walk, and will also canter. Bo neck reins and direct reins whichever you prefer. He backs up very nicely and side passes. Bo has been used extensively on trails out through the woods and being rode down the gravel roads and even down the highways. He crosses water, ditches, logs, is 100% traffic safe, doesn't mind 4-wheelers or dogs, and has been used on our farm with the cattle. You can open gates off of him and we have even pulled sleds with him in the winter. Bo will also ride bareback, which a lot of mules won't do. With Bo's size, he will park out to make it easier for mounting and he will also lay down to be mounted and lay down while you are on him to make it easier for you to get off also. This mule has also been desensitized to tarps. You can drag a tarp all over him and he will walk over them and you can also crack a bull whip off of him. Bo will also ride double and you can pack anything on him. He has been rode a lot in the mountains of Wyoming and Colorado and was used for riding and packing out meat. He is absolutely not head shy or ear shy. For more info please email [email protected] or call 573.821.3077. $8500

Ultimate CHAPLI KEBABS! | Extreme Pakistani Street Food in Mardan, Pakistan!

21:12
SUBSCRIBE http://bit.ly/MarkWiensSubscribe for 2 new videos every week T-shirts and caps: https://goo.gl/6WdK1l Thank you to Ali (Pakistan Travel Market): https://goo.gl/VY6NjH I can say with certainty, chapli kebabs are probably the best form or shape of any kebab or meat patty formation that I’ve ever had in my entire life. This was my first time to try this Pakistani food speciality, and I was blown away with every bite. Chapli kebabs are extraordinary! Islamabad - Capital Pakistan - So we started off the day in Islamabad, but the plan for the day was to drive to Mardan, eat along the way, and eat our way through Mardan, but mostly focusing the day on chapli kebabs. Mian Jee Restaurant - One the way to Mardan we stopped at Mian Jee, a very famous restaurant know for all sorts of dishes, but especially their world famous dal. It’s so thick and creamy it’s almost the consistency of peanut butter. And yes, it’s rich and delicious. Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan - We arrived in Mardan in the early afternoon and headed straight to eat chapli kebabs for the first time. Chapli Kebab - Mardan - The first place we are chapli kebab was a local favorite spot in Mardan city. I’m not exactly sure of the name, but it’s a very popular spot and known by locals. They had the massive podium fryer, filled with melted fat, and made medium sized burger patties, with big chunks of bone marrow to make this even better. Their chapli kebabs (kababs) were seasoned perfectly with a balance of tomato and cumin. It was an eye opener for me. Falooda - Next we stopped in Mardan to eat falooda, and from what I understand, Mardan falooda is pretty famous. River View Restaurant - Next on this day of Mardan and Peshawar, we drove to River View Restaurant, mainly to go on a boat ride in the Kabul River. The river ride was fun, and it was amazing to be cruising down the Kabul river. The restaurant also had delicious food. Rambail Chapli Kebab, Taru Jabba - But for our real dinner we needed to get another dose of chapli kebabs. On the way, almost to Peshawar city, we stopped at Rambail Chapli Kebab, Taru Jabba, possibly the most famous of all chapli kebab in the world. And when you see their bonfire and podium of a cooking station, you’ll know why it’s the best. They make larger sized patties, filled with spices, and bone marrow, and again fried in their own fat. The chapli kebabs were so unbelievably delicious, I could hardly control myself. It was an amazing day of Pakistani street food in Pakistan, and an intro to chapli kebabs from the source. Bishop T D Jakes Sermon. 2015 Faith Its A Journey Not An Experience. 03.20.2015

01:13:28
Thomas Dexter "T. D." Jakes, Sr. (born June 9, 1957) is the Apostle/Bishop of The Potter's House, a non-denominational American megachurch, with 30,000 members. T. D. Jakes' church services and evangelistic sermons are broadcast on The Potter's Touch, which airs on the Trinity Broadcasting Network, Black Entertainment Television, the Daystar Television Network, The Word Network and The Miracle Channel in Canada. Other aspects of Jakes' ministry include an annual revival called "MegaFest" that draws more than 100,000 people, an annual women's conference called "Woman Thou Art Loosed", and gospel music recordings. TD Jakes grew up in Vandalia, West Virginia, attending local Baptist churches. He spent his teenage years caring for his invalid father and working in local industries. Feeling a call to the ministry, he enrolled in West Virginia State University and began preaching part-time in local churches, but he soon dropped out of the university. He took a job at the local Union Carbide and continued preaching part-time. During this time he met his future wife, Serita Jamison. The couple married in 1981. In 1982, Jakes became the pastor of the Greater Emanuel Temple of Faith, a small, Montgomery, West Virginia independent Pentecostal church with about ten members. Over the next few years, the church grew, drawing an integrated congregation that helped increase Jakes' renown as a speaker and pastor. He moved the church twice - from Montgomery to Smithers and then to South Charleston, where the congregation grew from about 100 members to over 300. During this time, he began a radio ministry The Master's Plan that ran from 1982-1985. He also became acquainted with Bishop Sherman Watkins, founder of the Higher Ground Always Abounding Assembly (an association of over 200 Pentecostal churches). MOM, I'm fine. Instagram Account Lets World Traveler’s Mom Know He’s Okay

00:47
شخص يسافر حول العالم مع طمأنة امه انه بخير “Mom I’m Fine” traveller is still checking in with his mom — a year later As our kids get older and venture out on their own, we hope they master the check-in — you know, that quick call or text to let us know they’re okay. We now have a poster boy to point to, to show our kids that the periodic check-in isn’t only essential — it’s totally doable, no matter where they are. When Jonathan Quiñonez decided to quit his job and travel the world last year, he didn’t anticipate that in some places, it may be hard to check in with his mom. His first stop was Cuba, where he ran into some difficulties. “With the time difference, the Communist party blocking the internet and the prices of phone calls, it was difficult to communicate with my friends and family,” he told The LADBible. “Mums are always worried. Especially mine. It was complicated to be in contact with her so I decided to give a positive message and show her that the world is a beautiful place and that I am fine.” Just like that, an Instagram account was born. “MomImFine” lets his mom know exactly where he is — and that he’s doing just fine. This is the first shot he uploaded, last April. A year later, he has 237k people following his travels — and check-ins with his mom. Each one is captioned with a little message to his mom. This one reads, “My mom will probably not like this picture.” Quiñonez updates the account when he travels to different locations. In the last year, he’s posted 80 photos, each one better than the last. I travelled a lot in my twenties, and this was before cell phones were something everyone carried around constantly. About once a week I would search for a pay phone and make that overseas call. I have no idea how my mom didn’t go completely crazy. This mom is so lucky she has a son checking in, and easing her mom-mind. If you need me I’ll be weeping silently into my computer, thinking about the day that my kids venture off without me.

Meet The Media - Dublin, Ireland - hosted by TravelMedia.ie Ireland

05:42
Meet the Media is a speed networking event held in Dublin Ireland every year for travel media, editors, travel bloggers, influencers, travel journalists and broadcast media. Meet The Media 2017 took place on Monday March 27th in Dublin, Ireland at the Westbury Hotel and was hosted by TravelMedia.ie. The date for Meet the Media 2019 is Monday February 18th 2019. http://www.travelmedia.ie/meet-the-media/ Meet the Media is a one day speed networking event where Irish travel media can speed network with local and international travel suppliers, such as OTAs, DMOs, tourist boards, airlines, tour operators, hoteliers and other travel suppliers. 2017 over 50 travel specialist media met with 30 travel trade suppliers, PRs and their representatives. Appointments are made online in advance of the day. 2017 over 500 online appointments were made. Text from video: - - We are delighted with the success of the inaugural Meet The Media event here in Dublin. Meet The Media 2017 saw over 50 media turn up for pre-scheduled appointments, over 30 worldwide suppliers from all over the world were here. A really efficient online appointment system was used. Over 500 meetings were scheduled in advance all online, worked really well for the media and worked really well for the suppliers. - Very interesting day. Very wide range of different media, so a great day for us to announce our new launch of service from Dublin. - Today's been brilliant, I met a lot of different journalists from online, influences bloggers, it's been a really good day. They actually know quite a lot about Los Angeles but I think its been good to show them a different side about different culinary, multicultural side, different cultures, and also museums and what else we have to offer for the destination. - Everything has been so well laid out, from the moment you arrive. Teas and coffees, lunch, everything's been so inviting, and we've already had some really really exciting meetings. So from knowing so little, it's opened so many doors. - Oh I found it really really good. I was working this morning, I just drove up from the southwest of Ireland and it's been a great hub of activity. There's so many people in here to meet and greet, and it's great to see so many people from all over the world in one room together. - There's such a good cross section of representation here, so I'm getting the opportunity to talk to them about what I do at my blog, and what we're trying to achieve, and what we could do to work with them. - The mix so, we've had bloggers, we've had local media, we've had radio stations, so it's been a very good day for us because that's all the media that we want to actually meet, to try and diversify also the way we communicate in the market. - Really good day, lots of interesting people to meet, lots of different backgrounds, lots of different interest in travels, so really positive. - Here for American Holidays, Travelmood, and Al Fresco Holidays, so they all know one or all of the products which is great. The quality is really good, I mean what they're presenting to me in advance is really interesting as well. So I look forward to following up with a lot of them. - I like the way that it's structured, that you have 15 minutes with people, no more, no less, and that's perfect. - I got to meet loads of suppliers here today, from different tourist boards, airlines, and it's been a fantastic day all around. And as I said I was really impressed and I'll definitely be back next year to check it all out again. - And today I've met people from all over the world, the Caribbean, North America, all over Europe, so yeah, beneficial to say the least. - It's an extremely interesting event, and the fact that it's business like, its quick, you get your business done quickly and there's no mucking about. - Today is going really well, I've met with a mixture of bloggers, and freelancers, and national newspaper media, and we love being in Dublin for the day and getting to have face time with everybody. - What was good about this particular trip, obviously I know quite a few of the media in Ireland but there's all the new media here today. It's always good to meet new people, and we met a lot of new people here for the client today. - Some of the people I've met have been people I've met before which is quite good. I've been with people from Portugal, Poland, Czech Republic have been here, a lot of America which is always good as well, because its always good having people in one room, where you can also get to see old colleagues, you get to see a lot of travel writers. And Ireland we still have this thing, if we're from North or South, we don't get to see everybody all the time so it's always good to catch up with a few colleagues on the travel writing scene as well........................... TravelMedia.ie is not TravMedia. Meet the Media Ireland is not an IMM event. TravMedia and IMM / TravMedia are not related companies.

How Dangerous is Deep Space Travel to Mars and Beyond ?

08:55
NASA has a mission protocol which says that if a Low Earth Orbit mission increases the lifetime risk of the crew getting cancer by more than 3% they won’t go ahead with it but the upcoming mars missions may expose the crews to levels that would be beyond that limit and other hazards, so how dangerous is deep space travel to Mars and beyond. Patreon : https://www.patreon.com/curiousdroid Paypal.me : https://www.paypal.me/curiousdroid You can now translate this and other curious droid videos, see my video about it here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLPVgIytKyg With Elon Musk pushing to get men on Mars by the mid 2020’s and NASA looking to do the same for the 2030’s, just how much have we learned since Apollo and from the space stations. 50 years on from the beginning of the Apollo missions and we have yet to send any man back to the moon let alone on the much more arduous journey to our nearest viable planet Mars. Now whilst much of this has been lack of political will in the face of our own manmade problems here on earth, it’s also down to the increasing sophistication of robotic probes and landers and that they are much cheaper to make, launch, can go where no man could and can continue working for sometimes years at a time, the Voyager probes are still going 40 years after their launch. If we relied on manned discovery only we would know a fraction what we do now. With data from the probes which we have sent around the solar system since then, we have built up a picture which is far from the vision of just whizzing through inter planetary space. That and along with the joint NASA Russian experiment of having men in space for a year onboard the ISS, we now have a much better understanding of what they may experience on the two and half year round trip to Mars. RV Travel Life | White Sands National Monument & Pistachio - land

04:50
White Sands National Monument is the worlds largest field of Gypsum Crystals. It is not White Sand at all, but fine Gypsum crystals that are so fine you can actually walk on them very comfortably. The dune field is an isolated area in New Mexico that is part of the Tularosa Basin. This field of dunes is located approximately 40 miles south of the Malpais/Lava Flow which provides an amazing contrast between a Lava Flow (Black) and the Gypsum Fields (White). Both can be seen miles in the distance on clear days. In the 1940s this area was deemed perfect by the US Government to test missiles and explosives given the nature of the area. The Tularosa Basin became home to the first experiment of the atomic bomb and several other missiles were launched and tested here as well. A surprising find was all of the pistachio farms in this area. We failed to get footage of this but if you go to our Instagram or Facebook page (details below) we have lots of photos of the places we went. There were two large farms near Boothill RV Park. The first is called Heart of the Desert Winery, and the second is called McGinns. We bought lots of wine at Heart of the Desert, but bought many pistachio flavors and Pecan brittle at McGinns. We had more fun at McGinns but it was more diverse. I'm sorry we did not get more footage of these two areas. There were a lot of people around and we like to respect the privacy of others as much as possible with this channel. ★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★ [ About Us ] We are Hebard's Travels, we travel the country full-time in our RV. Why Japanese Live So Long ★ ONLY in JAPAN

17:02
So you want to live to be 100? The answers to living a long and happy life may come from Japan which has the longest average life expectancy in the world (83.84 years) and where 2 million people are over the age of 90. Believe it or not, 6 of the top 10 oldest people alive are from Japan including Nabi Tajima of Kagoshima who is 117 years old and the last human alive born in the 19th century! How did so many Japanese get to live so long? What are some of the things Japanese do right? In this episode, John travels to Tottori Prefecture to the area around Mt Daisen where his friend Tomiko-san gives him some advice about how to live a long life and how she's lived to be 106 years old and still working on the farm! Her secret? Tofu. She started to make tofu in the 1950s when doctors said residents had to reduce high blood pressure. She made her own tofu for her family and her diet combined with good habits including staying busy and working hard have strengthened her mind and body. She still walks and writes tanka poetry. I also ask Mr. Seiichi, my 97 year old Japanese neighbor his secret and hear from a Shinto priest about his thoughts and personal experiences with living a very long and happy life in Japan. It's impossible to say exactly what has led to Japan having the longest average life expectancy in the world but these things may help: ★ Green Tea ★ Less fatty foods ★ Seafood ★ Fermented foods ★ Bath culture / Hot Springs & Onsen ★ Smaller portions ★ Education on personal responsibility ★ National safety / low crime rates ★ Respect for the Elderly (It's a national holiday too!) ★ DNA Special thank you to Daisen Town & Yonago City in Tottori Prefecture for the help. Daisen is celebrating its 1300th anniversary this year and you're invited to the party in June 2018! http://www.daisen1300.org/ Music credits: Always thankful for TeknoAXE (Matthew Huffaker) Songs: Granny Jenkins / Harassing the Mailman https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtgf00GvfFQVsYBA7V7RwUw The video was produced and created by John Daub. Nomadic Matt Who Travels for Free, Flies from New York to Melbourne in Business Class

01:13
Matthew Kepnes runs the Nomadic Matt blog, which contains travel tips. Latest trip saw him redeem a huge amount of American Airlines air miles. The 34-year-old's books include The Ultimate Guide to Travel Hacking. He's an expert on travelling for free, and now blogger Matthew Kepnes has done it again - this time flying business class on a 112,000-mile flight from New York to Melbourne without spending a single penny. The travel guru has come up with a solution that helps him bag several free trips a year, and has previously shared his methods for fellow holidaymakers. By following his advice, everybody from bachelor travellers or romantic couples to families of four can get themselves free flights and hotel stays too. His latest freebie took him from John F Kennedy Airport in New York, into Abu Dhabi, and then onto Melbourne, all in the comfort of business class. Speaking to MailOnline Travel, the 34-year-old from Boston revealed how he managed to get his latest venture. 'After a six year hiatus, I decided to go back to Australia and visit my friends and travel around,' said Kepnes. 'Since flights are expensive, I wanted to find a way to get there without spending a lot of money and in business class. I redeemed 112,000 American Airlines miles for the flight along with $40 in fees. 'I've been collecting AA miles for about six months through spending and online shopping so I could get bonus miles (four times on clothes instead of one mile in the store), and credit card sign-up bonuses. 'I used AA miles since I had the most with them but this could be done with miles on any airline or partner that flies to the country. I spent about 20 minutes on the phone to AA trying to find a route that worked and the Etihad flight [a codeshare flight] worked out the best as I could get business class. 'Though flying through LA is quicker than going the long way through the Middle East, business class redemptions are rare.' Kepnes is a travel writer who runs a blog about his travels and money-saving tips called Nomadic Matt. He has also written several books including one called The Ultimate Guide to Travel Hacking, which is about using the system to collect points to travel for free. Through his own research over eight and a half years of travelling on a budget, Matt has worked out the best way to use reward programs, redemptions rules, flight alliances, credit card bonuses, and promotions to get discounted holidays. Matt started traveling in July 2006, when he toured the world for 18 months while doing some work on the side to earn extra cash. When he returned to the US he started a blog that now attracts more than 800,000 readers every month. Before long, he had itchy feet and was looking to leave the US again, so instead of waiting to save enough cash, he started to do 'travel hacking.' Matt said: 'The world is awash in miles and, if you know a few important tips, tricks, and strategies, you’ll be able to get anywhere you want for as long as you want. He says the things he is most looking forward to in Melbourne is 'all the cafes, wine bars, quirky bars, parks, and seeing penguins'. And just to make sure he continues in the same vein, he plans to redeem United miles to fly from Auckland to Las Vegas in business class on Air New Zealand for the journey home. 'It's an airline I've always wanted to fly,' he adds.

Aaron John Gregory's Epic Solo Japan Journey, 2015

18:55
In November 2015, I embarked on a solo trip to Japan for 12 days, spending half of my time in the Kyoto area, and half in Tokyo. It was a bucket-list journey for me. Japan has always held a special place in my heart, and it's been a life-time dream to visit. As a graduation gift (I graduated from art school in Dec, 2014) both from family and to myself, I finally realized that dream. What I can say now having done it, that I can earnestly not wait to go again, and plan to travel there as many times as possible through out my life, and could even see moving my family there someday. In all my travels, no where has affected me like Japan. This video is 20 minutes of random bits of beauty, absurdity, zen, and chaos. I like fish, a LOT, so there are frequent shots from various aquariums I visited. I like Japanese toys and 80's pop-culture, a LOT, so there are frequent shots of stuff pertaining to Godzilla and Ultraman. But obviously, I love all things Japan, and if you do too, then enjoy my little video. Places featured here: TOKYO - Tsukiji Fish Market, Shinjuku Robot Restaurant (of course, I know) and Hotel Gracery (Godzilla Hotel), Harajuku - Big Love Records, Shibuya station, Akihabara Electric town, Ueneo Park, Toho Studios, Chiyoda - Imperial Hotel, Sumida Aquarium, Sumida River, and Bandai Headquaters. KYOTO prefecture and surrounding area; UJI - Uji river and Koshoji Temple; ARASHIYAMA - bamboo forest, monkey park, and Tenruji temple; NARA - Kasuga-taisha Shrine, Nara Park deer, Giant Buddha at Todaiji Temple; OSAKA - Aquarium.

Ron Pope, Spring tour 2011: www.WhateverItTakesTour.net Click on the link to cet the single from iTunes* http://bit.ly/45JJMN PLease Subscribe and send comments!!!! =) Ron Pope - A drop in the ocean is a amazing song!:) A drop in the ocean, A change in the weather, I was praying that you and me might end up together. It's like wishing for rain as I stand in the desert, But I'm holding you closer than most, 'Cause you are my heaven. I don't wanna waste the weekend, If you don't love me, pretend A few more hours, then it's time to go. As my train rolls down the East Coast, I wonder how you'll keep warm. It's too late to cry, too broken to move on. And still I can't let you be, Most nights I hardly sleep. Don't take what you don't need from me. It´s just s drop in the ocean, A change in the weather, I was praying that you and me might end up together. It's like wishing for rain as I stand in the desert, But I'm holding you closer than most, 'Cause you are my heaven. Misplaced trust and old friends, Never counting regrets, By the grace of God, I do not rest at all. New England as the leaves change; The last excuse that I'll claim, I was a boy who loved a woman like a little girl. And still I can't let you be, Most nights I hardly sleep, Don't take what you don't need from me. It´s just s drop in the ocean, A change in the weather, I was praying that you and me might end up together. It's like wishing for rain as I stand in the desert, But I'm holding you closer than most, 'Cause you are my Heaven doesn't seem far away anymore no no. Heaven doesn't seem far away. Heaven doesn't seem far away anymore no no. Heaven doesn't seem far away. A drop in the ocean, A change in the weather, I was praying that you and me might end up together. It's like wishing for rain as I stand in the desert, But I'm holding you closer than most, 'Cause you are my heaven. You are my heaven

The surprising truth about rejection | Cam Adair | TEDxFargo

15:15
This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Cam Adair tells a story of our society's collective nightmare: rejection. It's a story we've all lived through before but this one ends with a plot twist. He speaks to the universal experience and paralyzing fear of rejection while exposing his own inner turmoil he trudged through as a teenager. After years of intense bullying starting at age 13 where the fun game was "Who can stuff Cam into a trashcan?" he dropped out of high school. Twice. Next he found himself recoiling from the world, playing video games up to 16 hours a day. But something surprising happened that changed the way he saw his rejection forever. This turning point allowed him to shift gears to become a successful entrepreneur. Now as a public speaker he travels around the country sharing his message about overcoming the heartbreaking pain of rejection and using it as fuel for growth, connection and purpose. Learn more about Cam at http://camerondare.com. Connect with him on twitter, @camerondare. Cam's mission is helping others live life with intention. Feeling trapped in a career he wasn't passionate about at the age of 20, Cam founded Kingpin Social, a company with a mission to empower young men to live life on their own terms by understanding the social side of their lives. Cam believes in the power of creating your own path, contributing to your community and the magic of youth. Currently you can find Cam travelling full-time speaking around the US & Canada on topics of Building Stronger Relationships, Bullying and Gaming Addiction. About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. 🌸DISNEY'S MOANA TOYS & REVIEW🐔

04:51
Disney's Moana Toys & Review! Thank you to Jakks Pacific for sending us Moana and Maui to open and enjoy! Since this fun Disney movie has a Polynesian theme, we headed to Disney's Polynesian Resort for the unboxing! Visit Jakks Pacific at http://www.jakks.com. You can purchase these Moana toys at Walmart. More About Disney's Moana: For centuries, the greatest sailors in the world masterfully navigated the vast Pacific, discovering the many islands of Oceania. But then, 3,000 years ago, their voyages stopped for a millennium – and no one knows exactly why. From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes “Moana,” a sweeping, CG-animated feature film about an adventurous teenager who is inspired to leave the safety and security of her island on a daring journey to save her people. Inexplicably drawn to the ocean, Moana (voice of Auliʻi Cravalho) convinces the mighty demigod Maui (voice of Dwayne Johnson) to join her mission, and he reluctantly helps her become a wayfinder like her ancestors who sailed before her. Together, they voyage across the open ocean on an action-packed adventure, encountering enormous monsters and impossible odds, and along the way, Moana fulfills her quest and discovers the one thing she’s always sought: her own identity. Directed by the renowned filmmaking team of Ron Clements and John Musker (“The Little Mermaid,” “Aladdin,” “The Princess & the Frog”), produced by Osnat Shurer (“Lifted,” “One Man Band”), and featuring music by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Mark Mancina and Opetaia Foa‘i, “Moana” sails into U.S. theaters on Nov. 23, 2016. tdm meaning t(homas)duongmaate which has been my nickname/gamertag for a long time. Trips that I went on in 2017. Was the first time travelling without my parents. Footage recorded with a GoPro 5 which turned out to be shaky, lens wasn't always clean and was lazy to record footage. Bali Feb '17: Couple of unfortunate things happened at the trip and lots have changed since but was definitely a good trip. Learnt a lot for future travelling and vlogging. Shoutout to Ken, Christian, Raymond Ye, Raymond Wong, Betty and Lisa. Singapore July '17: Honestly best trip I have ever been on. Marina Bay Sands was the best and probably the only luxury experience I had which ended up 500 dollars cheaper thanks to my boy Jesse. Food was perfect to my taste and had the chill vibes during the whole trip. Shoutout to David Ngo P&O Cruise November '17: Went on my first cruise with my family. Got closer with my family and had buffet everyday. Got heavily seasick and watched Brooklyn Nine Nine the whole time. Seaford December '17: Was a two night road trip but unfortunately not everyone was able to come. House was perfect and best part of the road trip was probably the water sport that we made up which I did not record. Shoutout to Don, Marlorn, Steven, Umesh, John N, John L, Andrew, Alex and Jason. THINGS TO DO IN BAGUIO, PHILIPPINES | CaptainJack

01:07
Please like and subscribe if you like the content of this channel. Enjoy! This Tree Top Adventure is located in Camp John Hay in Baguio. I highly recommend you to put this on your list when in Baguio. It’s fun. Enjoy! Souvenir/pasalubong: The cheapest stores we have found for souvenir/pasalubong are the ones in Botanical Garden. Also, Good Shepherd offers a lot of quality products, you should buy there. The earnings they get from the products sold are used to send youths to college/university. Strawberry Picking: Unfortunately, there were no strawberries yet to be picked when we visited Baguio. They said strawberry picking starts in the 3rd or 4th week of December. Check first with a reputable travel agency or Baguio government website. Cafe by the Ruins: We went to the one near the City Hall. The sugars shaped like shells were AMAZING, but nothing special. Night Market: SO CROWDED, but it has a lot of stuff to offer. You can find vintage, antique, and bargains. Botanical Garden and Wright Park: No entrance fee. Best if you want to go on your walk or jog, or have a picnic. Lourdes Grotto: Amazing view at the top. You can attend mass if you’re a catholic. If you don’t feel climbing the stairs, you can just park halfway, which what we did. Minesview Park: Sooo crowded. If you’re looking for plants and want to bring some home, this is the place to be. Aside from plants, they have a lot of stores that sell souvenirs, and there are restaurants. Christmas Village: I think the entrance fee is too much, but it’s worth to be seen. I wished they have train inside and Santa is in it, carousel, more stores, gingerbread, cookies, hot chocolate, bibingka, puto bungbong. It has towers like those in the Garden by the Bay in Singapore, and the highlight is they blow soapsuds, which are like snow - I loved that. Strawberry and ube taho: Expensive. It was 35 pesos at the time for a small cup. Just buy a jar of strawberry jam or ube jam and taho then mix it yourself. You can put as much as you want. I think it’s the same. Way much cheaper. Place to stay: To save, you can rent a transient house. The one we had was Faes Transient House (https://youtu.be/YzXId-mjgxs). We liked it. Puregold is near, so if you plan of cooking for breakfast or dinner, you can do your grocery there. Baguio’s traffic is worse. What was my favorite? Tree Top Adventure. Located in Camp John Hay. I highly recommend putting this on your list when in Baguio. It’s fun. #baguio #philippines #captainjack

Whale Sharks of Holbox | JONATHAN BIRD'S BLUE WORLD

09:59
Jonathan travels to Holbox, Mexico in search of the massive whale shark—the world's largest fish. Reaching 50 feet long, these animals grow larger than a school bus, but they are completely harmless since they eat only plankton and small fish. Jonathan gets up close and personal to a mouth the size of a small car in his investigation to discover why so many whale sharks visit Holbox every summer. This is an HD upload of a previously posted Season 2 segment. ********************************************************************** If you like Jonathan Bird's Blue World, don't forget to subscribe! You can join us on Facebook! https://www.facebook.com/BlueWorldTV Twitter https://twitter.com/BlueWorld_TV Instagram @blueworldtv Web: http://www.blueworldTV.com ********************************************************************** Holbox is not your typical tourist destination. Until recently, this sleepy island wasn’t much more than a fishing village. There are no paved roads, and everyone gets around in golf carts or other non-conventional transportation. There are almost no cars on the island. The highway here is a stretch of beach where you can hit maybe 20 MPH if you have a fast cart. Downtown, this island has the charm of a place not yet discovered by throngs of tourists. But everywhere there are signs. Something special has been discovered here. Offshore in the cool waters of the Gulf of Mexico, a giant lurks! To find the whale sharks, I get up early to meet the boats to take me and the other intrepid snorkelers on the adventure of a lifetime. These are converted fishing boats. Instead of depleting the ocean of fish, these fishermen are instead making their living taking tourists to swim with the fish. A really big fish. Using a GPS device to help him find the shark hot spot, the captain takes us about an hour offshore. Our guide Andreas stands in the bow, with a carefully trained eye on the horizon. Soon, we pass a pod of dolphins. We also see manta rays, and large schools of fish feeding in a frenzy. Soon, he spots what we are looking for—the large fin of a whale shark sticking up out of the water. As we pull the boat up alongside the shark, I can see its massive mouth open and funneling water in, like a gigantic storm drain. The shark is feeding. But what could it be eating? It’s more than 30 feet long. What could feed such an enormous animal? To find out, I don my snorkel gear and hop over the side. The whale shark passes right in front of me. The water is not very clear, and this is where I get my first clue what is going on here. The sharks have come to this section of the ocean because it is filled with plankton! Whale sharks might be the biggest fish in the sea, but they eat only plankton and small fish. The word plankton comes from a Greek word meaning drifter, so plankton are drifting organisms. Early in the morning, when the water is calm, the plankton forms a thick layer near the surface. He's just surface feeding. What the whale sharks do here is they swim across the surface of the water with their mouths open wide and all that plankton that's sitting right there at the surface gets funneled right into their mouths. The enormous mouth swallows up huge quantities of water. The water comes back out through the shark’s gills, but comb-like structures in the gills capture the plankton like an enormous spaghetti strainer. So the whale shark swimming through the water is like a big pool skimmer, filtering the plankton for breakfast. Each shark eats hundreds of pounds of food every hour! It turns out that eating plankton is very efficient for a large animal. Conditions here around Holbox Island are perfect for plankton in the summer. The water is not as clear as other islands in the area, but these conditions attract a vast number of whale sharks, manta rays and fish—all animals that eat plankton. The fish attract other predators like dolphins, birds and bigger fish. That’s why Holbox has always been a great fishing area for the locals. I can’t believe how many sharks are around the boat. I can count as many as ten at a time. I have been to a lot of places around the world to swim with whale sharks, but never anyplace with this many! Soon however, as the sun gets higher in the sky and the air gets warmer, wind picks up and waves start to form. The plankton layer dissipates, and the sharks dive down deep, out of sight.

Living Universe | Journey To Another Stars - Documentary 4K [2018]

03:20:31
LIVING UNIVERSE is an interstellar adventure that seeks to answer the most profound question of all: are we alone? Based on the latest scientific knowledge, we will take a journey to a planet beyond our solar system in search of life. We ask the world's leading space scientists what we might find if we travel to a neighboring star system. Recent breakthroughs have proven that every star we see in the sky is orbited by at least one planet, many similar to our own Earth. How do we get to these "exoplanets"? Once there, what will we find? And what will it mean for humanity when we discover we are not alone? Our speculative journey through space is set a hundred years in the future - when we have the technology to journey well beyond our solar system. On this first expedition, our star ship Aurora will be piloted not by astronauts, but by the artificial intelligence (A.I.) we call Artemis. We imagine how Artemis travels through space, on its 25-year journey, at one fifth of the speed of light. Its objective is Minerva B, a planet much like our own, with an atmosphere, temperature and liquid water that appears a likely candidate to contain life. With spectacular special effects we will reach and explore a new planet as we seek to answer the most profound question of all: are we alone in the universe? Our guides on this journey are narrator Dr Karl Kruszelnicki and as the voice of our AI, Artemis, real-life astrophysicist, Professor Tamara Davis. Inspired and informed by our rapidly developing knowledge of far-off worlds, our best scientists - including NASA engineers, astrophysicists and astronomers - we will discover that this amazing journey is not only possible, it is inevitable. To venture into distant space is our destiny. LIVING UNIVERSE captures a pivotal moment in the human story. A film full of insight and inspiration certain to thrill anyone who dreams of distant worlds, or have ever wondered why are we here? Have you ever wondered that someone like you, sitting less than a mile away, in some other universe, exists? The possibility in itself seems frightening as well as astonishing. "From breaking news and intriguing historical documentaries to conspiracy theories, classified NASA files and UFO's. We provide you with material that the government doesn't want you to see." The Insomnia team comes up with a promise. To keep up with the same, the team now brings to us a documentary that aims to change your perspective Of another existence, of another possibility, as today, the scientists now believe there may really be the presence of a parallel universe - and in fact, also believe that there may be an infinite number of parallel universes, and where we live today just happens to be only one of them and many of these other parallel universes come with different laws of physics as well. These other universes that we are talking about not only contain space, time and strange forms of exotic matter but to surprise you, Some of them may even contain you, only maybe in a slightly different form. The thought itself is quite intriguing and scary on the same hand. The basis of this theory is as we know it the idea that parallel universes are constantly spinning off from reality that we humans know of. "Though generally ignored at the time, that theory has gone on to become not just a popular topic of study among respected physicists, but the inspiration for such popular films, television shows, and books as Star Trek and The Golden Compass." according to the sources. The video soon progresses into the Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP), that is now changing everything, as some say that the remarkable images reveal the true shape of the universe through baby pictures of the same from the time when it was 4 hundred thousand years old, looking so back in time, when there wasn't even the formation of galaxies yet. The WMAP is catching the very first signs of creation as it is officially tagged with measuring radiation that is left over from Big Bang. And now scientists have devised an experiment to find the overall true shape of the universe. The WMAP hence shows that the universe is flat. From here arises the possibility of more mind boggling parallel universe that are of the level-2 type and is made up of giant cosmic soap bubbles that float in hyperspace. Each of these bubbles within it has a whole universe. Now, the question that arises is that - Do we all live in a giant cosmic bubble? Journey to another stars finding lives on other planets

Red Canyon Driving Tour

03:15
http://JonesFamilyTravels.com The Red Canyon on the way from Zion National Park to Bryce Canyon National park was an unexpected treat! This was a short canyon that gives you a sneak peek at what Bryce Canyon holds for you, ahead. History and lore of the old west are alive in Red Canyon, thanks to Butch Cassidy, who was raised nearby in a cabin in Circleville where he lived from 1879 until 1884 . Rumor has it that when Cassidy was in Panguitch at a dance he got himself into a brawl over a girl. Cassidy thought he killed the fellow and fled to the craggy land where Red Canyon is today. Turns out the man he knocked out was just fine, but a posse was already sent out after Cassidy. He eluded them by hiding along what is now known as the Cassidy Trail. BE A TOURIST IN SAN FRANCISCO

01:37
http://jonesfamilytravels.com This week, we are in San Francisco in California for a few days. We decided to be a tourist and fit all of the fun touristy activities all in one day. We kicked off our day with breakfast and shopping around San Francisco. For lunch we headed over to Chinatown to House of Manking. This is a popular locals favorite. We had two local friends suggest this restaurant and it was great. They have large portions, so it is best to order a few entrees and share "family style". After a delicious lunch, we headed down to the popular tourist spot...Fisherman's Wharf. We did some shopping and even got our fortune from Zoltar...flashback to the movie BIG. A must do is the sea lions down at the wharf! They are so funny! We spend about 30 minutes just watching the sea lions. They just sit on these floating docks and argue with each other. Sometimes they slide off the docks and swim around, but they are very entertaining for adults and kids. We then walked around the wharf some more watching street performers, shopping and slowly making our way to our favorite in San Fran...Ghiradelli! We all got ice cream sundaes. I got a peanut butter sundae. It was amazing! By this time, we getting towards dinner time so we wanted to drive over the Golden Gate Bridge before the night hit. This was a fun experience just to drive over the bridge in a car. We stopped at a pull out after crossing the bridge. It was a fun day for the whole family visiting one of our favorite cities, San Francisco. Please subscribe to our videos to see weekly family travel and adventure videos. Aero-TV: Rod Machado AT WAI 2011 - Read A Lot Of Books And Ask A Lot Of Questions

06:37
Rod Always Plays To Big Crowds... Listen For A Bit And See/Hear Why! This year's Women In Aviation conference has always had much to recommend it... but one of the better ones that we know of... (dare we say it...) happens to be a GUY! Yeah... the WAI is definitely an equal opportunity event... especially when it comes to attracting talented folks from all over the aviation community. After all, no one plays as well to an aviation crowd as aviation humorist, flight instructor and safety advocate, Rod Machado. Rod is a professional speaker who travels across the United States and Europe delighting his listeners with upbeat and lively presentations. Machado truly loves mixing it up with the audience. His unusual talent for simplifying the difficult and adding humor to make the lessons stick has made him a popular lecturer both in and out of aviation. Rod's presentations include topics as diverse as Risk Assessment, Defensive Flying and Handling In-flight Emergencies. His non-aviation topics include: Safety Awareness programs, Humor as a Communication Tool and The Lost Art of Thinking. Flying since 1970 and instructing since 1973, Rod has well over 8,000 hours of flight time earned the hard way—one CFI hour at a time. Since 1977 he has taught hundreds of flight instructor revalidation clinics and safety seminars and he was named the 1991 Western Region Flight Instructor of the Year. Rod holds all fixed-wing (powered) flight instructor ratings as well as an airline transport pilot license. He also owns an A36 Bonanza. He is, though, most of all, a passionate and positive spokesman for aviators everywhere and an excellent proponent for all things aviation.
